Andrea Lieberman has dressed some of the most iconic fashionistas of our time, from Gwen Stefani to Jennifer Lopez. Now, she’s branching out with her own line of clothing, A.L.C.
The collection is a well-edited mix of extremely versatile pieces. There’s a perfectly pleated black cocktail dress. A cream-colored leather jacket with an extra-wide, draped collar. And my favorite, a black silk, hip-length cargo jacket that’s essentially seasonless.”
The muses are obvious in A.L.C. pieces, many of which are clear homage to Lieberman clients. Is there anyone else she could have had in mind when designing a navy, nautical-striped maxi dress than Gwen? Or anyone more suited to a black silk halter jumpsuit than J. Lo? I think not.
