5 Pieces to Wear this Week | Steal the Style

Annie Georgia Greenberg, Refinery29 Editor

Okay, so some of you might have seen this image over the weekend on  one of my favorite websites Refinery 29.  My schedule has been so hectic lately that a little shortcut goes a long way  and when I saw this outfit I instantly fell in love with the mix of feminine and masculine.   Right then I knew it had to be shared in my "5 Pieces to Wear this Week".  Soft clean blush dress paired with a hard leather biker jacket, so chic!  Dress down a gown or maxi dress with wear-with-anything ankle boots, and a vintage clutch, voila - you have a perfect outfit.

Keep the dress for later in the Spring and add a denim jacket and sandals or for a Summer wedding pair it with some gold accessories.  There's nothing better for your closet than transitional style! Right?

Real way: H&M Leather Jacket, $157.45, available at H&M; YSL Pouch Shoulder Bag, $876, available at Bluefly; Miss Selfridge Gold Twist Chain Belt, $26, available at Miss Selfridge; Acne Marnay Washed-Georgette Dress, $390, available at Net-a-Porter; Kenneth Cole Reaction Ankle Boots, $89.99, available at Macy's.

Lashing Out | Wear to Where on Greer's OC

I think my beauty routine has officially been changed forever by Beau Monde Beauty.  Recently I was getting my makeup done for a photo shoot and Nikki Lee, artist and owner of Beau Monde, suggested I ditch the store bought clumps that I often use on my non-existant eyelashes and instead get extensions from her lash specialist Mallorie Mason.  I was a little apprehensive about the whole process, but Nikki assured me the results would be transformative. Okay so I was too embarrassed to show you me before, but here's a amazing A F T E R shot.

Holiday Party Survial Guide | Tips on What to Wear

The holidays are here -- have you started putting together your party outfits?
I have an idea of what I'm going to prance around in this year. Hint: It includes Sequins! If you're still contemplating, let the gaggle of gorgeous fashion spreads help you out. Leopard, leather, bows, dots, sequins, velvet -- they're all dying to be worn by you! Step inside to get 12 holiday styling tips inspired by the latest fashion spreads.

The holidays are the prime time to go wild with leopard print!

Instead of black, why not wear a white sequin-embellished frock this year?

Be not afraid to add a huge, festive bow to your mane!

The ladylike look totally works for the holidays. Just wear a grand, poufy dress, cozy up with a classic cardigan, and be sure to throw on gloves.

As Kate Moss knows, a fur chubby is chic year-round, but especially during the winter.

For an alternative to the usual holiday dressing, opt for a fringed leather skirt and silky blouse.

You don't have to wear black to be in the spirit. Throw on your favorite print dress, then go all out with the jewels.

If you're going to sport an LBD, make sure it's extra fresh. Velvet, poufy, embellished -- the more details the better.

Add a dose of chic to any look via Swiss-dot tights.

If your dress is simple, dazzle it up with long leather gloves.

If dresses aren't your thing, you can still look fancy with a delicate ruffled blouse, silk scarf, and extra jewels.

There is nothing sexier than dressing in menswear-inspired pieces for the holidays. A pair of velvet trousers, a crisp button-down, and a primp bow tie are all you need to pull off the chic androgynous look.

Mini Trend | Bright Colored Pants

As fashion fans, you know that bright and bold colors are a major spring trend, but did you know that the trend has extended itself to denim? Several stylish celebrities—including Anne Kendrick, Kim Kardashian, Alexa Chung, Malin Akerman, and Ashley Greene—have been spotted out and about in colorful jeans. While Anna, Ashley and Malin opted for iterations by cool downtown brand Rag & Bone, Alexa chose to rock a pair of scarlet skinnies by Topshop. As for Kim, she chose a pair of electric blue jeans by J Brand.
